Portsmouth is surrounded by maritime history.

From Portsmouth Harbour and the Historic Dockyard to views across the Solent towards the Isle of Wight, the sea forms a huge part of the city’s identity.

But seeing the Solent from shore is one thing. Experiencing it aboard a luxury Sunseeker is something else entirely.

Solent Marine Events operates luxury yacht charters from locations including Southampton, Cowes and the Hamble River, providing an excellent option for customers travelling from Portsmouth and South East Hampshire.

Once aboard, you can leave the roads and crowds behind and spend your time enjoying the water.

Private Sunseeker Yacht Charter

Our yacht charters are private experiences, allowing you to enjoy your time aboard with the people you choose.

The distinctive styling and performance of a Sunseeker motor yacht make the yacht itself a major part of the occasion.

Sit back and relax as the professional crew handles the vessel, enjoy the scenery and make the most of your time on board.

Depending on the charter selected, experiences can range from shorter trips to half-day or full-day yacht charters.

Portsmouth to the Isle of Wight — A Different Kind of Day Out

The Isle of Wight sits just across the Solent from Portsmouth and is one of the defining features of this unique stretch of water.

Solent Marine Events regularly features Cowes as part of its yacht charter experiences.

Cowes is internationally associated with sailing and provides a fantastic destination for a day on the water. Enjoy the approach from the Solent, spend some time ashore or include lunch as part of your day before continuing your charter.

For people accustomed to travelling across the Solent by ferry, arriving aboard your own privately chartered Sunseeker creates a completely different experience.

Birthday & Celebration Yacht Charters

Some occasions deserve more than another meal or night out.

A private yacht charter can provide the setting for a birthday or anniversary that friends and family will still be talking about years later.

Popular reasons to charter include:

30th, 40th, 50th and milestone birthdays

Anniversaries

Family celebrations

Romantic surprises

Special days with friends

Experience gifts

Private days on the Solent

There’s also no requirement to be celebrating anything at all.

Sometimes a sunny day, good company and an opportunity to get out on the water are reason enough.

Half-Day & Full-Day Yacht Experiences

Choose the yacht charter that best suits your plans.

A half-day charter offers plenty of time to enjoy the Sunseeker experience and get out onto the Solent without taking up the entire day.

For those wanting to make more of the occasion, a full-day charter provides additional time for cruising and visiting destinations such as Cowes.

Shorter boat trips may also be available for customers wanting a taste of the Sunseeker experience.

Our team can help you select the most suitable option when you enquire.
