Wanda is China’s largest property developer and its 59-year-old chairman Wang Jianlin liked the product so much he decided to buy the company!  Apparently he was in the market to purchase 40 luxury Sunseeker Motor Yachts to meet the demand for luxury Sunseeker Yacht Charters in China and was advised that it would be more effective to buy Sunseeker Yachts.

Wanda reportedly purchased Sunseeker Yachts for £320 million with existing management retaining 9% of equity. All 2300 jobs in Poole will be retained and production of the worlds leading luxury motor yachts is said to more than double.
