Sunset Cruise The Needles
Sunset cruise to The Needles is best done on a luxury Sunseeker motor yacht. You can anchor off The Needles or in Alun Bay or simply slowly motor around taking in the beautiful sunset. A Sunseeker cruise to The Needles Isle of Wight is very popular. The Needles are a prominent rock formation on the Western tip of the Isle of Wight. They consist of 3 chalk columns approximately 100ft high. At the seaward end lies The Needles lighthouse which is no longer in use. Both Alun Bay and The Needles lighthouse have featured in various television shows, films and documentaries. To the South, just behind The Needles is St Catherine’s Bay where there lies am old rocket testing sight used by the British Military.
